This is a favorite pattern of mine’s that I enjoy making for the masses. This may have been my first pattern purchase from the uber talented Mimi G.
Sometimes I can browse Pinterest for a shameful amount of time looking at beautiful traditional African fashions or just any and everything made with Ankara fabric. What’s more fun than wearing a long maxi skirt made with a bold and beautiful Ankara print? There are several vendors of Ankara fabric online from Etsy, Lowpricefabrics, eBay, etc.

I had some left over fabric used for the skirt and made this super easy tieback shirt with an open back from a vintage Vogue pattern 9587.
