Unfinished Projects and New Cutting Table
Have you ever had projects piling up one after the other? Working on a project to get distracted by another garment that you MUST make immediately? Lol, then you're just like me. One weekend I took a break to organize my studio and noticed the plethora of incomplete projects. (Quick update: Finished 3 of the outfits pictured here)
Jackets, skirts, pants, client's order, sweater top...all need my love and undivided attention
I decided to make a promise to myself and not cut out any more garments until I've completed all these outfits pictured; or at least 3/4ths. In all seriousness, my mom has the practice of working on one project at a time. She says having more than one project in progress makes her nervous. I began feeling anxious and closed in with the projects adding up. So time to listen to my mother on this one.
A pair of the cut patterns ready for completion
I blame this new cutting table for my distraction. Before the purchase, I would use my formal dining table and or my kitchen table for cutting out. Tired of seeing my cut fabric in the same place I entertain company, I looked for a table and found the perfect one at Crate & Barrel to place in my studio.
