Summer months in Houston can be brutal.  So there's not too many options for dressing up.  This pattern is perfect for Houston woman like myself that enjoys going out.  The fabric came from Fabric.com many months ago.  I used Vogue 8847 and made the following alterations:

-Shorten length by 5"

-Added 2 pleats in Front

-Added 2 pleats in back yolk
